The only RB you pick in the top 10 is a Jim Brown type. Same goes for WR.

OT if we have to. I'd probably start trading down if we miss on the big 2.

I didn't watch many games by Landry Jones. Here are my negatives on him:

1. the one game I watched.........HE SUCKED IT UP
2. with a name like Landry....makes me think of (Tom)

If you're going by talent alone (and not taking need into consideration) it's Luck, Kalil, and then a toss-up between Claiborne and Richardson. RGIII would fit in somewhere after those 4.

I'd agree with that Canes - QB is V important and we most likely get Luck or Griffin III with the top pick

while we are ONLY looking at the draft picks here - our draft needs will be determined by the free agent additions

given just the players we see here - Luck or Griffin, Kalil then look at trading down - maybe Richardson
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

That would be great if we could get Andy Dalton to throw the Ball to Blackman.

Who do you think is more responsible for the Bengirls improvement, Dalton or Green? I think Dalton. Now that doesn't mean AJ isn't a great WR, but great WRs can only help so much.

See Megatron before Stafford. He went 9-7 and then 0-16 even though he personally had 78 catches, 12 TDs, 1331 yards (during that 0-16 run).

Another exhibit is #11, Larry Fitzgerald. In the FIVE seasons the Cards have had Fitzgerald, w/o Kurt Warner as the starting QB, they have won 28 games (5.6 win per season average). But with Warner as their QB they won 27 in THREE seasons (9 win average) with a SB appearance. Fitgerald's first three seasons with the Cards they won 16 games. The previous three seasons they won 16 games.

No improvement and Fittzgerald is about as good as you can hope for.

In Megatron's first three seasons Detroit had a total of nine wins. In Detroit's previous three seasons they had 14 wins. So it doesn't look like Megatron helped Detroit much and to compound things they took WRs in the top ten, four years in a row to hit on one stud WR, and that resulted in a 5 win decrease.

Now obviously, the WRs aren’t to blame for the records of the Cards or the Lions, but they certainly didn't help much!

Bang for the Buck!!! That is what you want with a top 15 pick (especially a top ten) and you just don't get it with a WR, even if you hit a homerun! And if you don't... Just ask Matt Millen!

When in doubt, if you can't trade down, pick a OL. My pick is Kalil.

Our most glaring need after QB is for a Corner to lock down the #1.

Claiborn would be a force multiplier for our defense...

or work on adding more quality picks...

But, I wouldn't cry if it were Kalil.

If we end up 6th or worse I find it highly likely that Luck, RGIII, Kalil, and Blackmon will be gone. The hope would be that some teams go defense. I don't think they will because the teams before us are horrible offensively. If somebody took Richardson early it could throw a kink in that, but otherwise I find it highly likely we end up with Jonathon Martin or Riley Reiff if we stay where we are at. Could go defense but I think we should go out of the way to not draft defense early this year. I could see the Colts taking Luck, Rams taking Kalil, Cleveland or Minny taking RGIII and Minnesota or Jax taking Blackmon. In all honesty we should trade up for RGIII if possible. If Blackmon falls he's a must take, cuz he could fall.

Too many variables between now and the combine. Don't forget how many players have dropped or advanced at the combine. Also, this is the time of year teams do the background checks and we find out one of the top prospects may have some hidden police record or character flaw. It happens every year. Assuming that doesn't happen:

If the Redskins can't get Luck, then they have no choice but to trade down and do as last year. Blackmon is going to be off the board by the time the Skins pick, probably by St. Louis. The Skins are not going to spend a 6th round pick on an offensive lineman if they can get him at say the 12th pick. I doubt the Skins are interested in RGIII. Stanford runs essentially the same offense as the Skins. Luck could start day one and be in the pro bowl. RGIII will take a lot of time to adjust.

HOPEFULLY - the FO will have as successful a draft as last year

HOPEFULLY - the FO will trade out of the #6 pick and add more players
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I'm good with that as long as you add:

100% absolute must - the FO will find a QB that can start for them for the next 8-10 years
