Don't necessarily agree or disagree with your first part. Sanchez definitely wouldn't be a clear upgrade, he might even be worse than Rex. There of no way of knowing until we can see more of Sanchez, but based on his performance this year out might just be a push.
Second part I agree 100%

If at all.
After Today's Sanchez game against the Dolphins, I have to agree with you. 3 Picks and that last one was down right ugly - worse than Grossman's picks.

Here in NYC there is not much support for Sanchez. General agreement that he is mediocre and not improving.
I thought it was this thread I posted in maybe the RGIII thread... But Sanchez is crap and if he is our starter ill be pist.. He makes horrible choices doesn't know the routes in year three of the system guy is a truckn BUM

I could care less - Sanchez or anyone - as long as we do not start next season with Grossman
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Kaz - to be clear - I do not want Sanchez, nor do I have an idea of which FA might be best
all I care about is that Mike & Bruce know how important the QB is to their continued tenure here
they will be bringing in a FA to handle the QB job .... AND .... Kyle better start getting more out of the offense
the offense better be a lot better next season or we'll be looking at a new FO and new HC this time next year

Colin Cowherd thinks that Grossman is a better QB than many out there
he might be - that does not mean that he might be able to help here
Grossman can go and be great somewhere else - ha cannot help this franchise as a starting QB - NO WAY

The Colts just canned their front office. I guess the owner realized they can't win without Manning, and the Front Office is the cause of it. I wonder if the coach gets canned too. Fun times in the off season!!! We might be in better shape than we think for the Luck and RGIII sweepstakes.
Any combination of a QB and WR would be nice - Grossman would be great if he only threw the ball to our players
This FO is NOT using a top 10 pick on a WR

Weeden is going to take a major hit in the draft because of his age. The guy is a year older than Alex Smith who has already been in the NFL for 7 seasons. He'll be 29 next season and if he sits out a year like most rookies, would be 30 years old by the time he becomes a starter.
