not just based off of that one kick.. look at the kids body of work.. 4 50 yard FGs this year alone plus a 59 yarder.. Say what you want but sometimes you have to let a young kicker grow into the job and I believe he is starting to do that.. We will def bring in competition this offseason and I think thats the right thing but I believe he will come out on top.. Show me a better kicker we have had since good old ChipThe Hogster wrote:With one kick in a no-pressure situation?everydayAskinsday wrote:Gano is one resilient kicker.. I have been one of the many fans questioning the kid but all he does is come back and nail some impressive kicks..
Yes he has had the most missed FGs in the league but 4 have been blocked and those have to fall on the Oline.. He has changed my tune thats for sure

True. Could make things a little more interesting this offseason.SprintRightOption wrote:If they lose Peterson they would have to draft another big Running Back because he is their offense.44diesel wrote:Such a talented back. Hopefully this doesn't have a major impact on his career.

John Hall, just for arguments sake. But I agree with you. Let it be clear, I WANT Gano to develop into a top-end, clutch kicker. I just don't believe he will. That's my opinion.

not in my opinion.. He does provide a spark a times but he does not contribute in any other area except for one trick play in which he threw a TD pass.. we have other players who could return kicks and punts and also help out at the WR position..The Hogster wrote:Does Brandon Banks deserve a roster spot?
He has had a nice 2 year run but I think hes gone next year

True. John Hall did have a leg but he could never stay healthy.. And we both agree on WANTING him to develop.. We can only hopeThe Hogster wrote:+1everydayAskinsday wrote:not just based off of that one kick.. look at the kids body of work.. 4 50 yard FGs this year alone plus a 59 yarder..
