no thanks.....to Landry Jones....
This guy is SUCKING arse tonight... No thanks, don't want him drafted by the Skins....hahaha
Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one person sharpens another.
so one person sharpens another.
He's got the height, the arm. I can see where he can make scouts salivate and a guy like Shanny, say I can make this guy into an excellent pro QB, but his decision make him remind me of Grossman.
I say, no thanks as well.
In tonight's games, I like Weeden, Wilson and Cousins. Before, I take Landry Jones, I give those guys a hard look. I Like Barkley and RGIII before I look at Landry. I like Kellen Moore before I like Landry Jones.
What is with pro scouts anyway. A guy like Andy Dalton had winner written all over him - yet because he didn't have the arm and height, he was first relegated to the 3rd or 4th round then they woke up started looking at him in the 1st or 2nd round. I won't second guess coaches for not taking him in the 1st, but for the socuts to rate him as 3rd or later round prospect in January shows that the love affair with height and arm needs to end. Pick the guy who knows how to WIN when the going gets tough and the odds are against. Landry Jones doesn't fit that mode IMO.
