Nice for a win today but don't really see it changing much on the draft board . Colts are going get the best QB in draft. We are right in mix for about 5th or 6th pick. We got a lot of tough teams ahead of us. The Vikes look like the only weaker opponent left. Would say Eagles too but they already beat us one time.

Wishing to get the top Two or Three on the draft board is not going to happen ...so wake up.

That's two weeks in a row now grampi, and you didn't answer my question last time. What does it feel like, not just to have been totally wrong, but to have completely trashed your own team in the meantime? I always wonder.

I predict we go into Victory Formation!

I guess my prediction was right.

I don't mind being wrong when the result is a W...

So you are in can't lose situation. As the Redskins are losing the game, you trash them and predict a loss. If the Redskins lose, you win because you knew it was going to happen. If the Redskins win, you win, even though you are wrong, because the Redskins are the team that you pull for to win. I get it!

2 weeks in a row for what? As I recall, the Skins lost last weekend. Like I said, I don't mind being wrong if my being wrong means a W for the Skins. I don't consider calling it as I see it as trashing my team. When they look like , which is almost every week, they deserve harsh criticisms....if you want to coddle them, be my guest, but if I see a bunch of losers, that's what I'm gonna call 'em....

If you truly are "calling it as you see it," then I suggest getting your vision checked. Clearly something isn't working right there. My 2 cents

I still don't know what you're talking about. They lost last week. I said they would lose. How is that being wrong? And again, calling it as I see it isn't "trashing," it's reality....

I'm calling it as I see it too

fans that trash their team cannot claim to be fans - THEY ARE NOT FANS
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

If you do not cheer for this team week in and week out (no matter how horrible they are), then you are not a fan.

I've probably been a Redskins fan longer than most of you have been alive. I'm just sick of the losing.

We're all sick of losing - we don't want OR like to lose

trashing your own team is a form of losing

I still don't know what you're talking about.

Two weeks in a row of trashing your own team and saying we had no chance of winning or that we would lose, and then being proven wrong by the Redskins.

Still unclear? I really don't know how to put it in simpler terms. :|

They lost last week. I said they would lose.

My memory of it was that it was a little more along the lines of this: DarthMonk astutely observed that
DarthMonk wrote:The good teams can't get up for us, we get up for them, and it's close.

The crappy teams see us as a chance to win, get up for us, and it's close.

Can't wait to be a good team that beats crappy teams and plays good teams tough even when they get up for us!

And you responded:
grampi wrote:Man, I want some of whatever you guys are smokin. Dullass will blow out the Skins. This Redskins team couldn't beat its way out of a wet paper sack...

In other words . . .

That's two weeks in a row that you've underestimated this team, showed no support or hope that they'd improve . . . well, there's no better way to say it. You completely trashed them.

And then your "realistic," "call it like I see it" predictions turned out to be very different from reality. DarthMonk's predicition that we would be competitive — so crazy according to you that you joked it was drug-induced — turned out to be 100% accurate.

And then of course there was the Seahawks game.

So my question is still unanswered. How does it feel, grampi, not just to have made crappy football predictions over the past two weeks, but to have been wrong while totally trashing your own team in the process?

And again, calling it as I see it isn't "trashing," it's reality....

Garbage in, garbage out. Your calling the team trash says a lot more about "the way you see it" than the thing you are seeing.

If that offends you, then I apologize. I'm just calling it like I see it, which I'm sure you can appreciate.

If this team isn't trash, what would you call them? If it looks like trash, plays like trash, and smells like trash, it's probably trash...

I'll answer your question if you answer mine.

(Hey, speaking of trash . . .)

How does it feel, not just to have made absolute garbage football predictions over the past two weeks, but to have done so while taking a crap on the team you allegedly support in the process?
