Post by spudstr04 »

Redskins release RB Tashard Choice two days after playing his former team. Rookie Evan Royster was promoted from the practice squad.

Evidently signing him was a bad choice.

The guy got used to help us try to beat Dallas (That shows how committed Mike was to beating Dallas) and now that that game is gone, he was cut. That is the only reason why I can see Mike not bringing up Royster, who seemed like a perfect fit for the ZBS, to a struggling running game. Kyle said that often backs are missing the holes, well, give a ZBS guy a try.

My guess is Mike told Choice, thank you and if we ever need someone, we will be calling you if you are available.

I called that when they signed him. They just wanted to know Romo's Snap count. Of course he could have been a double agent and he purposely didn't score the touchdown.

I was at that game. Choice did not choose to not score that touchdown. Everyone in the whole stadium from the players from both teams, sports jounalists, fans, cheerleaders, chain gang, ball boys, etc. knew that Choice was getting that ball on the goal line. He got slammed.

Have been waiting for Royster to get a shot. Problem is that Seattle's defense has really been playing well the last few games. Am totally fine with Helu & Royster getting all the carries this week.
