Play of the Day!
Has to be Coles stripping the ball from the DB on an apparent interception for a TD. Then we march down field and who scores the TD? Coles. Instead or Seattle 21-3 it's Seattle 14-10. Major game swing.
We had some players step up today and make some great plays but that one gets my vote for the biggest.

No - I can't believe it, but it is great to see. You want to know why we have been stalling so badly? Gardner dropping 7 out of 12 passes thrown to him every game - the possession receiver is SO critical to the continuity of the offense in this kind of scheme.

Did you seem to notice that P Ram had taken a little off the shorter routes? I bet it's cause he didn't have to rush - seemed like he threw it so hard in the 5 losses on every play...

Let's keep it on topic here folks, yes Gardner played well but - COLES IS THE MAN. Without his touchdown saving play we would more than likely be sitting here moaning about another loss.
Still think we paid to much for him Jets Fans????

Granted, Coles is the man. I believe he is quite incredible. I don't separate the two however because without Gardner catching the possession style passes underneath, Coles simply doesn't see the ball come his way. Then the Skins alter him to catching the short routes resulting in his disappointing numbers in the 5 losses.
Just a thought

I think both played well.....but Coles single-handedly won that game for us. The TD grab was awesome, but he hustle and forced fumble turned the entire game. If the hawks score there we're done.
Coles is the best player on our roster IMHO.

I think he is one of the best, but has by far one of the better attitudes. That is what is so frustrating for me... the level of talent of guys like Coles - we have so many former all pros on our team and we couldn't get out of our own way. Coles is a huge spark, and tackling Robinson and causing that fumble was just one more huge reason why I still laugh when I think of the Jets fans posts on here.
Coles has surer hands than Gardner but is drawing the double teams and best cover men. If the Panthers have a suspect secondary it is going to be a race to see if P Ram can get him the slant or post quickly or if the blitz can get to him first.
Might be nerve wracking.

Oh it will be. I'm still waiting for Coles and P-Ram to get on the same page on blitzes and hit on a hot go route. There's no reason P-Ram can't throw it up deep and let Coles run under it for a bomb...similar to their hook-up yesterday.
