Stallworth is gone, David Anderson is in. He's gonna take over the slot while Moss is out.
Then comes the news that:
The Washington Redskins have waived backup defensive lineman Darrion Scott and signed free agent defensive end Kentwan Balmer, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
The Washington Redskins have waived TE Dominique Byrd and signed CB Domonique Johnson

I don't think so, unless he were to gain another 20 - 30 pounds of muscle. From what I have read is he has all the tools but lacks desire and dedication. With haslett running the defensive side, I doubt his desire increases. I see Haynesworthless was waived! LOL maybe he will come back to play nose!! LMAO!!!
The Washington Redskins have made three more player moves, signing offensive lineman Tyler Polumbus to the 53-man roster and adding tight end Fendi Onobun and cornerback Brandyn Thompson to the practice squad.
Wednesday’s signings make for a total of 11 roster-related moves this week for a team looking to improve while mired in a four-game losing streak.
Polumbus was cut by Seattle last month. He previously played two seasons in Denver under Redskins coach Mike Shanahan. He has appeared in 51 NFL games, including 15 starts.

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hold on....
I feel that The Danny will allow Shanny to "Ride it Out" in terms of his 5 year contract.
More on Balmer:
DE Kentwan Balmer is thankful for his chance in Washington to restore his reputation. San Francisco drafted him in the first round in 2008, yet he was out of the league this fall.
"With my name comes a lot of baggage," he said. "A lot of it I brought on myself. The time off was really humbling. It made me realize what my priorities were."
Balmer wouldn't elaborate on what was wrong about his priorities, but Shanahan made things clear for him when he arrived at Redskins Park.
"We know he has a lot of talent," Shanahan said. "We know he fits in well with this scheme. Now we’ll find out if he likes to work and do the things that we think it takes for him to be successful.
"I just tell the person we’re aware of his background and that he’s going to start out with a clean slate. Hopefully he comes in here and does what he’s supposed to do. If he does, great. If he doesn’t, he won’t be here long."

What's the difference between rebuilding and weeding out the weak?
I think the shanny plan calls for every player to get on or get out. Put forth or bye bye.. If we were rebuilding "floaters" would be tolerated. Yes we are getting younger and plenty of new faces but these faces are her because he believes they have something to prove to the world. When a person is out for vengeance it brings out the best or worst of them- and shanny only keeps the latter. Rebuilding? Ya. But no one gets a free pass so fight fight to win and don't ever consider this a rebuilding process or you might be jobless.
Or at least something like that is what I'd like to think
#21 forever in our hearts “I wanted to just… put his lights out ….because, you know, …Dallas sucks…” - Dexter Manley
- it is a panic if Shanahan cuts half the regulars in mid-season. DeAngelo Hall, for instance, has not been as good as Carlos Rogers was, but I think Hall is still with the team.
- it is normal shuffling if backups and practice-squad players are cut.

Not sure what point you're trying to make
Since the Bruce & Mike era began here, this franchise has been going through a complete transformation
It really is not important what the terminology is or what anyone perceives it to be - what is important is that the Washington Redskins were not managed well - EVERYTHING needed to change, and that is an ongoing process
We are going through that process and a lot of progress has been made - we have a lot of areas of need
This franchise will be a playoff contender begining next season
This franchise will be consistently competitive under the guidance and leadership of these guys
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
