Niners coming to town
Not coming to trash talk, just want to hear what your fan base thinks of the upcoming matchup. On the surface the teams are heading in opposite directions - what are all your thoughts? And ya, we've heard the gay jokes, which got old about 30 years ago, though to the Browns fan base that's just about as deep as they can think. Maybe keep it to football as a novelty.

Welcome! Look forward to a competitive game. We obviously haven't seen one in a couple of weeks. Niners are looking good this year. I didn't think Harbaugh would make that much of a difference in his first year, but you guys are good. I always thought the Niners had a good defense, and Frank Gore is a beast when healthy. Good to see Carlos Rogers learned how to catch a football.

My God... suddenly, bandwagoning fans of other teams that are doing ok are coming out of the woodwork... I don't think we've seen a niners fan in years... I thought they were extinct.

Define "bandwagoning"???
I'm just curious because I've been a Niner fan since the late 70's. Hardly my definition of a bandwagon fan.
That said, this is the first year I've registered on as many NFL message boards as possible, just to talk with fans of other teams. It's a lot more fun than just posting on the Niner boards.

Bandwagoning: Coming to another teams site only during winning seasons.
I'm kinda kidding, but I doubt you'd have come here if they were the usual Niners.

Wasn't the last time you guys won the Super Bowl Mike Shanahan was your offensive coordinator? I bet you scored some points that day. It's too early to tell which way either team is really headed. Just when you think your team has struck gold, it turns out to be fools gold.
I hope you guys like cold weather.

Oh, OK. If that is your definition then I guess I'm guilty as charged.
I did however, look it up... just to be sure I wasn't confused.
From the Urban Dictionary
What people will "ride" or get on when they want to be accepted, espescially in the NFL. People will get on the (Colts) bandwagon and suddenly become their fans because they are doing really good or because they have a large number of fans so they can be accepted.
People will ride a bandwagon even if they dont give a **** about football or whatever the bandwagon is.
This kid at my school wears a Cincinnati Bengals shirt to school when he is a Denver fan.
Me yells:BANDWAGON!
I looked around a fair bit in online dictionaries and thesarauses but couldn't find a definition that matches your definition. That's not to say it doesn't exist... only that I couldn't find it.
Hmmm....

I've been un-Godly cocky over the last few weeks, talking plenty of smack on the Bucs, Lions and Browns boards. However this weekend was bit of a reality check.
The Lambs beat the Saints!!! I never would've believed that was going to happen.
The Tard's put up a valiant effort against the Ravens even though they did eventually lose. If the Ravens were really all that, it shouldn't have been close. Arizona sucks wind.
The Eagles crushed the Cowpukes. I guess it's about time all that talent they bought showed up.
And the Niners should have blown out the Browns but allowed them to come back and be competitive in the 2nd half. I have to hand it to the Browns D which did manage to shut down Gore in the 2nd half.
Gore isn't our entire offense but he IS a key part of it. Shutting him down will certainly help the 'Skins.

Exactly Gore isn't our only offensive weapon, stop Gore and we have other options but who says they're going to stop Gore? Yes Cleveland woke up in the second half but I was expecting the Browns to have a good defense they just showed up late. I don't see the Redskins shutting down Gore at least not the entire game.

I made up that definition, obviously. One time I had a dictionary but my dog tore it up. I rewarded her with a treat because I agreed with her. Why look things up when you can find people online to do it for you. She is a really smart dog.

I am a niner fan to.. But I hate when niners fans.. Come on other ppl board and start talking smack. Just talk football and not talk smack.. Any given Sunday.. A team can lose. And it gives us niners fans bad names. When other niners fans go on boards. To talk smack on there.. I see coming on there to talk football.. But not to talk smack.
