Who will get the bulk of the carries for the Skins?
And how productive do you think they will be against the panthers horrid run D..
Torain/Helu
I think Beck will be more effective passing than Grossman has been, and that will force the D back from the line. The last two games we've seen eight and nine in the box, hence no run game. If we see respect for the passing game the running game should benefit a lot. The O line shuffle is a concern. It could be a big step back, or a chance for replacements to shine. Personally, I vote shine. Torain is probably pissed off that we gave up on the run vs giggles, so if given enough touches should run rampant. If the coaches have any sense, run heavy is the way to plan, because the Panther run D stinks, and to play keepaway from Cam.

We just need solid games from EVERYONE - we match up well here
Kyle needs to just call plays that suit our personnel NOT what he thinks will work - that's been his problem this year
The run game needs to be established and used all game long unless the Panthers get lucky against our defense
- WE NEED TO RUN THE FOOTBALL
STOP with the low percentage pass plays, for cryin' out loud

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
The Panthers will lose this game if we force them to pass the ball, same for the Redskins
Bad things happen to teams that have to go to their passing game
- BOTH these teams KNOW that

How do you know he isn't calling plays that aren't both? And our personnel just aren't that good.SkinsJock wrote:We just need solid games from EVERYONE - we match up well here

If they can run the ball, I'm sure they will. If they are ahead and the run is still some what working, I'm sure he will continue to run the ball.SkinsJock wrote:

What he isn't going to do is run when it isn't working or run when the other team is
over committing to stop the run.
If people are over committing to stop the run, the best thing to do is play action and throw the ball deep. That forces the a LBs and safety to stop cheating up to stop the run. So some of those low percentage plays are exactly what you mef to do.
I think Kyle knows more about play calling than both of us put together!
