who's carrying the ROCK this week....?

Post by tribeofjudah »

With Mikey Shan....one never knows who will be our #1 ball carrier from week to week......SIGH....!!!

I'm thinking you go with the HOT HAND and that's the Torain Train. I'd also like Hightower in there (if he is healthy)

It's coaches like Mikey Shan who gives FF owners a headaches (me included)

But at the "end of the day".....

HEY SKINS - just keep winning baby....!!!

I'd bet Hightower starts, but with a big dose of Torain and a sprinkle or two of Helu for good measure.

Bingo! Doesn't really matter anyhow we look @ it though, they suck at stopping the run and we have 3 good RBs who will beat you in their own ways. I love it!

I dunno, it makes sense to start with Torain... Why run the weaker back and potentially stifle the offense? Run the strongest guy, break them down and let Hightower speed past them when they're worn out in the 4th qtr....

I dunno, that just seems too much like right.

Torain... but i feel like Helu can explode in this game, establishing the Skins as one of the best running teams in the NFL with a legitimate 3 headed monster at rb.

Mike will keep with the same formula that got him here, Hightower starts - Torrain & Helu get rushing yards as well

same as QB - we'll start the guy that got us here, not the one that gives us the best chance at winning -

ain't going to matter much on offense - the defense has to try & keep the eagles from scoring too many points

we're NOT a run oriented offense, this week we SHOULD be - Grossman is not a QB that helps the offense score a bunch of points
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I like Hightower getting the first 4 or so carries and then changing it up to Torain.

Personally, I am not very high on Hightower, but I think part of the reason Torain played so well was because he was "hungry" to prove himself. Having Torain suit up against Dallas and not seeing the field may have put a bit of fire back in his belly. I would like to make sure that MS keeps the fire burning by not handing him the keys after one good game.

That said, if Torain even has 3 consecutive bad carries, I would like to see Helu get in there and carry the load.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

I feel like if Torain had played against the Cowpies, we would have closed out the game, and be 4-0 right now.

I agree, IF and only IF Kyle would have kept running him.

I don't generally like to play the game of "what if," but it sure seems that way. Anyway, 3-1 ain't so bad. Here's to hopefully going 4-1!

we're going 4-1 - we want it and the eagles are playing scared

I kind of like taking it to these teams that a lot of fans think are better than us - this is actually getting to be kind of fun

after this week, we could be 5-0 if Kyle had let Beck play a little against the pukes

Soften them up with Hightower, Gas them trying to chase Helu, then Finish them off with Torrain. =)

We were not able to add the future great QB so we have to be more of a run oriented offense which Kyle does not seem to embrace

fortunately Mike is a great coach at getting the most out of his RBs and his O line with the ZBS

Kyle needs to get more out of Grossman - the best way to do that is to be more committed to the run game than he's shown

I like what we saw out of Torrain but I think we'll start with Hightower - hopefully Grossman does not try and do much passing - if at all
this eagles defense needs to be kept on the field and forced to defend the run - they cannot

otherwise .... we are going to need Beck at QB to try and catch up
