I am not closed minded at all. For example: I have been a Christian. Now I am an Atheist. If you are religious, have you ever been an Atheist?

God first bro.. without Him I don't believe there is such a thing as a beating heart. Everything we do is our own choice given to us.. what we do with it is up to us obviously but its pretty simple to me; just do what you know is right and don't do what you know is wrong. Simple motto for me to follow. Family, I'm a family guy (lol) but I also believe my inner strength comes from somewhere my man, hence it being called faith. Personal responsibility, of course I do bro.. when I know I did something that I personally felt was wrong, I pray on it man and I ask for strength not to make those same mistakes again. Of course, its always back to faith.. believing in something that you may or may not see.

What if your faith (and not saying it is or does) asked you to sacrifice a family member? Would you choose religion over family?

This is a logical fallacy called "begging the question." If you don't know what it means but heard it in the press, they use it wrong so don't go by that.

What is the "factual evidence?"

I believe in God because randomness doesn't explain everything I see. I believe God is good. I believe happiness is a choice and only a good God would allow us the power to be happy. I do not believe we are capable of comprehending God other then that in this life other then that so I don't worry about it other then to try to be a decent person and to grow.

I don't believe a kindergartner needs to really understand much about their teacher to know they are good and they are taking care of them. Other then that, I don't worry about it. I certainly don't listen to self deluded morons like evangelical christians or atheists who actually believe they know THE actual answer to the question of God's existance.

Atheists are morons because they do not believe in God? Sounds rather slighted. What if I said Christians are morons because of their faith?

Religion is stupid btw. You also never answered my question. I thought I had made it rather simple. What is your faith?

Since when you were a Christian you thought you knew "the" answer and now you're an atheist saying you know "the" answer. Did it ever occur to you that you could be wrong...again? Especially since you're saying the "facts" are behind you now, though you haven't named them.

What kind of question is that :hmm:

It's obvious someone has interviewed a person that died

Took that information and compared it to what other persons that died too :?

Then compiled that research and presented it too a panel of experts on the subject of dead people who hadn't perished and proved them wrong. because those experts couldn't produce any factual evidence from their dead persons.

Everybody knows this...

Oops, that's not what I said, is it? It's not strengthening your argument that you have to change what I said rather then address it. These "facts" you're right you've cited but not named seem to be more in doubt as you can't even address what's actually said.

I, personally, have factual evidence that there is a God. But I can not prove it to anyone else, because my experiences were mine alone, and there is no way to prove they happened.

PS ATX, I love how you used the word "parish," when you meant "perish." What a Freudian slip!

Wait, is it still the bye week? I thought there was a game in a few days? If there was a God, certainly he would make it so we wouldn't be talking about this right now! :)

Actually I did...on the last page. And I just posted it again to make it easy for you. BTW, you even responded to a point in that post. Is this the thing again where you understand the difference between God and religion but my believing in the former and not the latter doesn't make sense to you? You realize you have not made a single statement that actually shows you grasp the difference and you have made many that demonstrate you don't.
