Titan's Chris Johnson...???

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Titan's Chris Johnson...???

Post by tribeofjudah »

Are you kidding me? This guy was a beast last year. Now he gets PAID $$$ and he has blipped off the radar screen.

I heard on radio that he has 98 yards total over the first 2 games. That's less that 33 yrds per game.

Boo on you CJ........

Yet another prime example of peeps getting paid and laying an egg, ala Aintsworth.

A big part of it has to be that he missed what little training camp there was. I'm sure he'll get going eventually.

Like most things with the NFL - when a player is not doing what he normally does well enough or at the level that he is capable of ...
It's most likely NOT the player, it's the players around him or the game plan is different

With this player - it's simply a matter of the O line that he's running behind, that he needs to do things at a certain level is NOT even close to the O line he's used to playing with

Chris Johnson is an elite back that is getting no help from his line - his desire & talents have not changed
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

AND he's motivated - this is not a case of the guy just wanting money

Chris Johnson is a very good RB - he just needs a decent O line
