JF, dishwashers and 'cooks' don't get tips unfortunately.

Wow, things have really changed in Southern MD. When I was a dishwasher in high school in Calvert County, we got 1% of the tips, which in turn allowed them to pay us 2.00 an hour, well under the minimum wage.......

I didn't know dishwashers ever received tips. I know waiters and waitresses do. They get paid 2 something an hour and make most of their money on tips.

Yeah, I was being a little facetious. It was basically a way for the restaurant owners to rake me over the coals....
