PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles quarterback Michael Vick practiced for a second consecutive day Friday and pronounced himself ready to play against the Giants (1-1) in the Eagles' home opener Sunday, seven days after he left a game against the Falcons with a concussion.
"There's no reason to think that I won't play on Sunday," Vick said. "I've had two good days of practice. I'm optimistic I'll be able to go out there and very excited to play."
Eagles coach Andy Reid said that barring a setback, Vick will start against the team that has lost to Philadelphia six straight times.
"If he's OK on game day," Reid said, "then he plays on game day."
Vick suffered a concussion Sunday night in Atlanta during the third quarter of the Eagles' 35-31 loss to the Falcons and didn't return to the game. He was replaced by second-year pro Mike Kafka.

better if the Eagles win - I hate the giants
almost as much as I hate the pukes
almost as much as I hate the pukes
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Well, don't worry about the 1-2 start, or losing Vick with a broken hand. This is, after all, the
DREAM TEAM! DREAM TEAM! DREAM TEAM!
Man that game was sweet. Sorry, Jocko, I know you wanted NY to lose. But think about it this way: the Eagles had a lot further to fall, and besides we just beat the tar out of New York a couple of weeks ago. This was a great outcome for us, IMHO.

I did enjoy watching this game & I hate the giants
LOVED the result - these 2 franchises are not really very good anymore
I'm not saying that we're going to win the NFC East but .....
this division just does not have a clear cut 'leader' either .... just saying

BEAT DALLASS
