Start Paulsen and Davis

Post by mastdark81 »

Dear coach Shanahan,

Please start F. Davis and L. Paulsen against the Cowboys and let Cooley heal properly. Cooley look like he running with rocks in his shoes. Logan provides better blocking. Put him on Ware's side to help chip. Just this game tho. Put Cooley in only when Davis needs relief.

Thanks Mike! :)

Cooley has always killed Dallas hasn't he? I know Moss has always excelled too. But I would like him to get that knee right. We need him all season, not this one game.

Yeah he doesn't look healthy. But I'm sure Mike Shanahan is going to play the best players available that give us the best chance to win

With the emergence of Davis (he's actually always performed when given the opportunity) I don't see the rush in having Cooley play as much when he's obviously not 100%

Agreed (all of yuh)... I'm also confident that with ShanAllen we won't do something stupid like try to trade Cooley away (many of our THN family actually wanted this done a few years back). I only hope when Cooley gets 100% they utilize both of them similar to how the Patiots are using theirs.

I agree. Cooley just doesn't look healthy and appears to only be playing at around 50%. He isn't even close to the form we have been used to seeing over the past 4 seasons.

He needs to sit out and let himself heal. It's actually in his best interest to do so. If he doesn't people will think he is fine and Davis will simply pass him on the depth chart. If he admits to his injury, I think the coaching staff will have more patience once he comes back.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

How awesome is it to have the luxury of sitting a star player and barely skip a beat on the field?

Maybe playing is part of his rehab?
