Adam Schefter is giving Skins more credit. YES, we are all optimistic about this season.


Believes we'll get more than 6 wins.....

Respect does come with wins. When we won in preseason it was normal to take it with a little salt, though they were high tier opponents and we seemed much improved, it was still preseason. A fairly solid game against the Gnats makes it seem that there is indeed a pattern here. A win this week will likely bring a slew of fickle pundits seeking passage on Ye olde bandwagonne. I say let em walk alongside, as long as they mind their manners.

It was inevitable that guys like this will 'position' themselves - that is what they do


the fans here know - we have seen this franchise offer so much and then not deliver


Bruce & Mike have tried adding the players and coaches that suit what they want to have happen here - we have seen them get rid of the distractions and begin to bring out the talent in the players that are here


we'll continue down this road and the media will be sucking up and making out like they are a part of it all

looks promising this time - we can probably start sipping some of BH's cool aid - drinking the cool aid will come soon too


one game at a time - this franchise is getting there :D
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I know we're only 1-0 but I'm so excited about the future of the team. Tim Hightower is 25, Trent Williams is 23, Lichtensteiger is 26 (and looked like our only good lineman Sunday), Fred Davis is 25, Cofield is 27, Orakpo is 25, Kerrigan is 23, Hall is 27, Wilson is 26, Landry is 26... those are all above average football players here for the long haul, and we have guys like Hankerson, Helu, Neild, Jenkins, Gomes and others who look like they could blossom.

For the first time in years I actually feel like the Skins have a solid base and are headed in the right direction. Going to the playoffs would be amazing, and I'm not willing to predict it, but I do trust that with another offseason Shanny and Allen will add to the puzzle and make this team a contender.

Every hitching team pulling a wagon, be it horse/mule/dog, needs a lead. I nominate RedskinsRule56 as long as we use blinders to keep him on track. :P ... and those behind him can keep pushing him in the right direction and BossHog on the reins.
