It is I...

Post by BossHog »

Well, how do you re-integrate into your own community after a year and a half on the shelf? Honestly I guess.

So here's a quick skinny on what the scoop is.

Went through a tough divorce.

Met a great new girl.

Had a son.

Any more questions? Tough. It's none of your business. :D

My time is limited, and I am desperately trying to get a whole lot of stuff done before this season is too far gone to do them. The site is getting a complete overhaul, and with maintaining both the Facebook page and the Twitter account, you aren't likely to see me much. But I am available. Just look me up @TheHogsdotNet on Twitter.

I'm back to blogging constantly and have been for a few months. So if you haven't noticed, pull your head out of your butt and visit our regular site instead of just the message boards. We have a lot of value to offer you elsewhere.

I've missed my brothers and sisters, well some of them at least, some of you still think that having the internet makes you something special.

Most of the sentiment of this post is actually to do one thing - to thank the boys that have kept this place alive for you to bleed burgundy and gold in. The staff.

Some of you don't deserve them, but I'm lucky to have them. My sincere thanks boys... you made getting through a real tough stretch in my life, a little bit easier.

And now that I'm through it, I hope that I can support you all a little better, and get this monster back to banging full tilt.

So hello again THN, my name is Mark, and I'm happy to make your acquaintance.

Peace brothers and sisters.

And hail!
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Oh no, his hair is albino white - same as mine was. So white that it picks up the pink of his skin. No strawberrry in either of us at all.

Maybe you're an ugly red-headed stepchild, but not me.

The poor kid is a near genetic clone of his daddy... white hair - big head - but he's a BIIIG kid and we dunno where he gets it from. He's over 20lbs at less than 7 months, which is 3 times his birth weight.

My little budding middle linebacker.

He is my world. I can barely remember life before him.

nah, as an insomniac of 30 years - I can handle the sleep deprivation.

It's because every time that boy smiles at me, I'm reminded that I never knew TRUE happiness until the day he was born. It's a new 'barometer' so to speak, and because of it, nothing before it seems even remotely important.

He is my universe, and I his. It's like starting life from the beginning.

I feel very fortunate, and given all that happened in my life, it was an amazing sequence of events to get here.

People may not remember exactly what you did

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.
