This is according to the prediction of Mr. Lombardi of NFL network fame.
(no relation to Vince Lombardi)
Anywho.....he likes the Redskins, and that makes US all feel good, right???
We shall see...........HAIL YEAH....!!!!
“Even the Redskins fans think I’m crazy,” the NFL Network analyst said, when I got him on the phone this week. “I’ve been called an idiot on Twitter by a thousand people.”
Lombardi said the feedback he received over his Redskins pick was rivaled only by his picking the Texans to miss the playoffs. Still, at least a few experts agreed with him on that one. But on the Redskins thing, he was an extreme outlier in a universe of 3- and 4-win predictions. Was this a grab for blog attention?
“I would never say anything to get attention,” Lombardi told me. “I study tape; I don’t try to get attention. I say it because I see it. I could be wrong in my evaluation, but I watch what they do, I watch what they’ve done. The team will be ready, Tim Hightower fits what they want to do on offense, and they’ll be a problem for teams to beat this year.”
The offensive line is improved.
The defensive line is improved.
The running back position is improved.
The wide receivers have been improved.
Belive it or not, the QB position is currently improved.
We lost a lot of close games last year. Hopefully that will be improved. It's not so crazy to think.
Yep, its a definite maybe. Hope springs eternal for me this time every year. I just don't feel as embarrassed about it as much I have in the past. Got a nice 6-win over/under bet with the daughter's boyfriend. If we win more than 6, I get 3 hours of yardwork. Hmmmm, there's a stone wall over there that needs repairing........
Now I'll just sit back and wait for the trolls to converge.

Because you've been right on in your predictions so far, huh?

It's been one game. We are going to lose to Arizona next week.

And once you're wrong again, you'll be gone.
