Kerrigan & Orakpo
We all know that these two will develop into a great LB corps. So we should think of a good nickname for these two. I was thinking of the KO Squad. K of course for Kerrigan and O for Orakpo. What are your thoughts?

Fabe, how do we know what Ryan Kerrigan will do? The answer is we dont, he could become great yes, but lets wait and see what happens. Orakpo is already a beast. Kerrigan is learning a new position as he played DE at Purdue that is a tough transition especially given the shorten offseason because of the lockout.

You could say the same about Andrew Luck.
And for future reference Kerrigan went to Purdue.

You're right Kerrigan did go to Purdue, I had a brain fart I am hungover. You could sat that about Luck but he is as close to a lock to being a franchise QB since Peyton Manning according to scouts and some say it goes all the way back to Elway.

Every position is tough to adapt to once you get in the pros. But I give Kerrigan 2 years at most to become a decent LB. And he'll only get better from there.
How about Kerr-Rak Stormtroopers?
Got Kerr-Raks in your O-Line?
Does your QB have Kerr-Raks in his helmet.
Did Kerr-Rak ruin your life?( or at least your Sunday?)

Have you been smoking that Kerr-Rak?
I'm hoping those two will see that Eli takes more hits than a communal Kerr-Rak pipe.

I've always been of the opinion that, if a nickname is warranted... the team mates will choose it. Nicknames are earned.

I hope eli eats a kerRakpo sandwich!
Rr56 please don't turn ANOTHER thread into a suck for luck thread... Kerrington will be beast like Rak, he's learning from him and Fletcher has the talent and hunger. Try a little bit of optimism

I predict a pretty good season from him. Other teams know that Orakpo is a threat and will try to double team him which should give Kerrigan opportunities in the backfield. I'm personally looking forward to his first career int. Once that happens then I'll be truly convinced that he's becoming familiar with our 3-4 scheme and turning into a good LB.

Typically, what opponents do is wrap a forearm around his neck... seems it gets called about 1/4 of the time... making it a pretty profitable strategy... someday, perhaps, the officials will get their heads out of their butts, and get it up to 1/2 the time.
A holding penalty is not quite as good as a sack (the down gets replayed), but it will still tend to kill a drive.

Absolutely, I was just pointing out that he is held on nearly every passing down, but it very rarely gets called. It's like the ref says "Not again! I can't call it every time, or the game will go on forever."

K.O. is already a fairly established nick for these two already... check Twitter, check Facebook, check other Skins sources...
So come up with all you like, it's already making the rounds and has been for a few weeks, so it isn't likely to get unseated.
I for one would love to see an NC43Hog KO wallpaper creation...

I think you get my point...'rak terrorizes OT's... and he draws an inordinate number of holding penalties... and that's just the ones that get called. Unfortunately, those don't count as sacks...

Didn't get called once today, despite it happening repeatedly, directly in front of the ref.
