Why do you assume what we're hearing is accurate?

Landry has indicated that his 'response' was a result of his frustration & that he "acted un-professionally"

Yes, but he never said his comments about the training staff weren't accurate. Yes, he was frustrated and yes, it was un-professional, but is the training staff still at least partly to blame for his injuries taking longer to heal than they should.

They flat out misdiagnosed Kelley's torn hanny last year.

Are there improvements the team can make to the training staff? I think that answer is yes.

My point is that the players need to be VERY careful about giving out "information"

good idea to let the team give out ALL 'information' ESPECIALLY about injuries

then we'll know for sure that it's misleading - Bill Polian and Bill Belicheat do a great job of this
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

This training staff has a VERY bad reputation for BOTH diagnosing & treating injuries

As fans though we have no way of knowing where the problem is, if there actually is one. Are players getting hurt because the strength & conditioning staff isn't getting them in the proper shape, or are the injuries just part of the game and the training staff and team doctors are misdiagnosing or not properly treating injuries? Are players doing enough in the offseason to get themselves in the proper shape to avoid injuries? It's easy to blame the training staff but there are so many other elements involved also that could be to blame or could be contributing to the problem.

At least some of the blame has to go on the training staff, including the strength & conditioning department. Pro S&C coaches get the cream of the genetic crop handed to them, so even a poorly designed S&C program will put muscle on an NFL athlete.

We may be seeing the result of an unbalanced program.

The lack of a regular off-season training/OTA's is costing some players. Peyton Manning is in the same boat and I believe he too blamed not being in touch with the trainers for his long recovery. I guess they don't have trainers/rehab outside the NFL?

It doesnt help that he can't take HGH any more!

I know. Being that big is not natural. However, lets assume he is all natural, when someone gets that big and strong quickly, they usually compromise range of motion (AKA flexibility). Also, muscles grow faster than ligaments and tendons can keep up.

My assumption is he trains way too hard, at too high a weight, and doesn't do all of the range of motion exercises to ensure he doesn't poul a muscle or injure a tendon.
