AFN Voting Ravens win - Bad News, Good News and Next week.

Post by nonniey »

Hey all thanks for the support, you're best wishes, and your energy.

First the Bad news- The Ravens Fans beat us for the week one voting. I'll personally take that hit, as It was I who posted the link that AFN later stated was ineligable. The Ravens Steelers got about 350 Votes to our 130 (Final posted tallies got screwed up by about 30 votes each when they finalized). If I had known about the link issue I'm certain we'd have got about 2000 plus votes and walked away with the win. Anyway votes for week two start this Sunday. With the Mods permission. I'll start a thread weekly as long as I can - I will lose commecial Internet access (and Extremeskins) sometime in the next two months.

Now the great news. The AFN programmers chose the Redskins -Giants game anyway (The Fans get to pick just one of the five-six games a week - AFN programmers pick the other 4-5). Wish AFN had set the proper guidance out at the start of this - (Unfortunately for the energetic the Bills Sergeant up in Ballad - the Bills got screwed).

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
35%Cincinnati Bengals @ Cleveland Browns
2%Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans
2%Detroit Lions @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
6%Philadelphia Eagles @ St. Louis Rams
13%Atlanta Falcons @ Chicago Bears
5%Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs
15%Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
1%NY Giants @ Washington Redskins
12%Minnesota Vikings @ San Diego Chargers
5%Carolina Panthers @ Arizona Cardinals
1%Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers
1%

No skins on ballot. Typical media. Sportscenter had made a habit of not even mentioning skins games the last few years. I sit thru the whole annoying thing with nary a highlight. Hopefully we make some waves this year and rise up into the radar again.

Was there and I voted. It's in 2nd place to Cleveland vs KC.

Just a note. If you can't watch, I'll be streaming the game and will post the link on this site. Will be password protected.

Hey guys new to this board and and I unintentionally screwed up. Seems the Bills and I posted the wrong link all votes based on that link got thrown out. The Good news is the Bills 300-500 votes per fan are nullified, the bad news is we only have one day left to catch up with the Ravens who used the correct Facebook link. That said they are only 200 votes ahead. This time it is one vote per Facebook account. I think we can take this. Click the like button on the page and you'll get the ballot.

Looking like you'll get the Ravens-Steelers... at least that will be a decent game...

Unless, of course, those billions of Buffalo fans show up, again...
