Ball didn't even reach the end zone. Hate to lose it that way, but saw enough good things to be encouraged about the upcing regualr season.

Look at it this way - no way do we have Clemmons or anybody throwing on second down with a lead with 3 minutes to play so I am not going to take the loss as taking away from the 1st team showing

Did I read somewhere on THN that Parcells and Newsone knew best about Beck as an NFL QB.

The guy needs more playing time.

I know its only preseason, but to lead for the whole game and then lose with 22 seconds left just ruins the night.

It is a bummer, but I am going to choose to remember our first team kicked their arse and we ran on the vauned Ravens D. They were just as surprised as the Steelers that they were being pushed around.

They threw blitzes all over Rex and Rex beat them 85 yards down the field - how can you let a preseason loss by back ups and no defensive gaming take away from what you saw in the first three quarters?

The first half got me so hyped up into the game that it made it worse to watch the backups blow it so badly(Clemmons INT, Punt return to the 35). I wanted them to draft Taylor and then he beats the skins tonight aaah!!) Buy anyway I'm gonna sleep good knowing how good the starters looked can't wait until they are on the field running out the clock.

I disagree. I think the team can learn a valuable lesson here, and it didn't cost us anything to learn it.

Side note: Who didn't love how excited Papa Raven Ray Lewis got when the returned that punt... dude's in the middle of an interview wif sweet SUZIE C, and takes off screaming like a kid. I want that enthusiasm on OUR sideline.

I think he was VERY grateful that a bunch of guys that aren't going to be Ravens were doing what he and the starting offense could not :wink:
