You call them backups.... I call them potential starters when the guy in front of them gets injured. Imagine that defense if we end up having the same type of injuries that have plagued some teams over the years. Especially this year with no offseason workouts, I have to believe that injuries will be rife throughout the season. If they happen to our starting defense we're in deep doo-doo.

From what I've seen there isn't ONE of those backups worth playing a starting role. Of course this is the way the NFL wants it with the salary cap. No ability to build a team with any quality depth.
