Beck clearly has an uphill run, now. It's Grossman's to loose, it seems.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rex (check the Rex thread about winning the East) but the coaches know Rex and seem to think Beck is better. It's not so much what it says about Rex and every bit what it says about Beck.

I think all the talk about Beck being the starter is just away for Shanny to get some fire into the Q.B's around here.
Well, we haven't seen Beck yet no one has... If he is better then great I am on all for it but I am telling you Rex can or could get it done. He can make some bad throws but if you watch him he is the only QB since Brad that can actually lead a receiver. Mc#5 couldn't do it.

First preseason games... 0 false starts on either team... that's impressive coaching...

Shanny never talked about Beck being the starter. He just said some nice things about him. The media just took a guess that ment Beck was the guy then all of a sudden people are incorrectly saying the job is Beck's to lose.

True that still think it was Shanny way of saying may the best player get the job and i think it will be Rex . Beck better pull a rabbit out the hat now.

We're seeing solid play on both sides of the ball from the Skins. Nice to see. Nothing extravagent or over the top like Osaka. Just lining up and executing against what should be a good football team. Good to see.

Yes, he did, he said he knows that both Grossman and Beck can play and that is what he said he would stake his reputation on.

Maybe I stand corrected. I understood it to be about Beck not Rex. He did say later though that he had confidence in Rex as well. I could be wrong though maybe you have it right and I am wrong.

The NFL is going to lose a lot of money on footballs with the kickers airing them into the stands because of this dumbass rule.

He's an American, but he played in the CFL for a while.

Grossman or Beck; I think what we learned tonight is that Grossman can be the starter. Hope Beck is worth the hype!
