of trying to buy a Super Bowl? Where are these people now and why
aren't they accusing the Eagles of doing the same thing?

I think Jamie Dukes made the comment on NFL Network that for the past several years the Skins were having great offseasons but it never translated to the field. Philly can spend the money, but it won't necessarily translate. Didn't they have a big free agency year a while back? How'd that Jevon Kearse deal work out for them?

Be patient and let it play out. 8)

The media are saying that it's because the Eagles have an established reputation of being really good at bringing in players and getting the most out of them and we don't

who really cares about the other stupid franchises in our division - sit back, enjoy the rebuilding process here
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Wins cure everything. If Philly doesn't win, they will get criticism too. Maybe not as much, but they will get some.

Because Philly is not bringing in useless past their prime players and have a history of making the right moves. Until the Redskins start winning consistently we just have to take the abuse.

Philly's all in, it's the Coaches contract year and the Owner has said "it's Super Bowl or Bust.

The only question now is who will be coaching them next year.

^ ding, ding, ding! The man has called it. This is about the coach's contract... Win now or go home.

I'm not so sure he won't do it... The major flaw is the lack of truly servicable LB's...

You couldn't have said it any better my friend....I believe that we have enough improvements DEPENDING on QB play AND the Oline gelling that we could compete with Philly for the East......Call me stupid Call me a homer that's just the way I feel

You do realize that's an oxymoron for many of us, right? Losing brings NO JOY to a large number of us, thank you very much.

I'm very happy with the skins moves so far, but what they Birds have done is depressing. That team is going to be good for awhile. If Vick goes down, which he will for at least a few games, Vince will still win with that team. It doesn't matter for us this year, but it will make it tough to take this division over in 2012 or 2013 unless we can find a good QB...and i highly doubt beck is the answer. But, I do think this team is on it's way back to the top, and I can't wait to see our defense in action THIS year =)

What is this victimhood nonsense?

I don't remember people accusing the Redskins of anything in 2000. I remember superbowl buzz and the media praising our signings.

I hate the Eagles, but don't try to validate our ineptitude by comparing it to their actions. Sure they haven't won a ring, ever but that's such a weak argument in this debate. They've been a viable, exciting and mostly consistent team that is run decently from top to bottom. Let's stop caring about what the next team is doing and just get this house in the right direction for more than 2 years at a time.

This just sounds like sour grapes on our part. I don't see any comparison to the Redskins 2000 and the Eagles this year. The Eagles have been a solid team for years now. You can hardly blame them for going all in and bringing in some big players to try to get over the hump.

Actually it seems more like an honest statement to me. Truth hurts sometimes. No escaping that.
