Plaxico to the Jets....

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Plaxico to the Jets....

Post by tribeofjudah »

OH Boy....they ARE trying to buy a Super Bowl. I thought some of you guys were crazy, but it does seem like the Jets are doing exactly what the Skins use to do several years ago......

Jets signed WR Plaxico Burress to a one-year, $3.01 million contract.
Entering his age-34 season and having spent 18 months in prison, Burress will have to prove he has something left while on a one-year deal. He'll be given every opportunity to win the starting job vacated by Braylon Edwards, thus kicking Jerricho Cotchery to his customary No. 3 gig. While we're skeptical about how effective Plax will be, he couldn't have landed in a much better place for fantasy value. Edwards recorded a respectable 102 targets while running opposite Santonio Holmes last year.

Man, and with Ryan's arrogance only increasing, too. They've totally taken the buy a championship approach, and are so leveraged for this season.

Please let this be the year they explode . . . [-o<

I didn't much care for his dad, and I like Rex even less. He's way too cocky for his own good IMHO.
