From what I am hearing from the reporters on twitter, John Beck is looking awful! He had missed a lot of passes.

I think Verica is only in camp till Grossman & Clemens are allowed to practice.

More humid? Not really, probably about the same. Also, in the three years that I lived there I don't remember the temps ever reaching 100. During most of Hankerson's time at Miami Shannon also held practices way early in the morning (I'm talking like 6am).

Yeah, DC-area summer weather is often just as bad/intense as it gets in the South. The main difference is that ours doesn't last nearly as long.

Training camp is open, but it seems as though no one cares! haha I live close enough to make the short trip, but I don't care to go either. Too hot and my son probably won't give a crap until he gets a little older.

Training camp doesn't even start until tomorrow.

I know it technically started last week, but it doesn't start for the entire team until tomorrow.

Why would I show up in 100 degree heat to watch no hitting and only part of the team.

Besides with the lockout this past week didn't even feel "real" to me. I guess i'm still in a lockout hangover.
