Bring in the CLOWNS....

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Bring in the CLOWNS....

...to New England. Is Belichick arrogant? Can he change these Clowns...?

Like Haynesworth, Ochocinco might mask the shortcomings that tormented Carson Palmer. But what will happen in December and January when the spotlight is greatest?

Ochocinco is not Randy Moss. Ochocinco will not run by corners on nine routes. Ochocinco is a quicker Wes Welker, which means trust, precise routes and fearlessness will determine whether Brady and Ochocinco work well together.

Study tape of the Bengals. Carson Palmer could not trust Ochocinco.

I don’t like these moves by Belichick. If I’m proved wrong, I’ll be the first to admit it.

Today it smells like desperation and arrogance. And maybe a little bit of fear of the Jets and Rex Ryan.

As a Red Wing fan, when you're a well run premiere organization you can take chances that you can't take when you're trying to get there. When guys like Steve Yzerman and Nick Lidstrom head the lockerroom, they usually fall in line. If they don't they're gone and the team is experienced enough to handle it. Same with Tom Brady. Fat Albert will have way less asked of him. It could work for them and it's unlikely to hurt them.
Hail to the Redskins!

Could be that Belichick is due to have one of these risky signings blow up in his face. The Patriots don't have much time left for getting to another Superbowl with Brady at the helm.
