what a pathetic display! Can't even block and kick an extra point! Six points off of 4 turnovers.
Bowen should be a backup safety at best. Our personnel evaluation is the joke of the NFL! The QB situtation is a joke.
Meanwhile expansion teams are beating Miami, Carolina and Dallas (last year) in meaningful games.
Hell....the lowly Lions and Bengals are playing better than we are.

I don't think Bowen sucks... but I'm surprised at how ineffective he has been.
He did have a better game yesterday that was marred by the brutal tackling display on the TD.
Unfortunately, all day I was reminded of what a great safety can do for you by Roy Williams. Wow, what a playa!!!

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

and he dropped an interception that hit him in the chest (one that would have stopped the go-ahead drive) and continued receiving the shots instead of passing them out and continued with the weak-ass arm-tackling
Yes....Williams is scary great and going to haunt us for years to come
maybe when we court Stoops from the college ranks, he can find us another just like him

I heard there were major probs with Green at Minnesota... but I came in on the tail end of the conversation so I don't know the full gist of it.
I don't care what head coach we get - just bring back Rhodes.

he had personnel probs, man knows how to run an offense, set records at minn...... but most of all any player that ever played for him talks with nothing but respect for how he coached...thats somthing we need, and a d-coord, and a gm, and a new o-line coach.....sorry i was rambleing there at the end...

Until a coach can coach here... it doesn't matter who we bring in.
As long as we have no GM and the Front Office is making decisions that the coaching staff AREN'T EVEN AWARE OF... no coach will be able to succeed. Right now, Snyder makes ALL decisions... 'cause My Cousin Vinny does whatever DS tells him to.
Until this team has a FOOTBALL GM and not a racquetball partner for Danny... any coach is going to have serious difficulty exerting any type of authority.
Dennis Green isn't bad, but he's no saviour... the Vikes players may all like him, but Vikes fans all hate him 'cause their team CONSTANTLY underachieved under him.

I think Bowen did darn well. He wasn't 100% effective but he showed signs of being the player we brought him in to be. He is heading in the right direction in my opinion. He did better this game then he has in the last 3 games prior. Give him a little credit.

sorry NikiH...can't do it. I still think he should be a backup at best.
I agree Boss....Snyder needs to can Vinny and step back and bring in a GM. Bringing back Bethard would be nice.
I agree to hailskins that I don't want another adjustment period...but don't think Green is the answer.....he did underachieve in vikland IMHO
