Great move by the Dolphins and others.....

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Great move by the Dolphins and others.....

Post by tribeofjudah »

I heard on radio that right after the Lock Out was lifted, the Dolphins Organization paid-in-FULL the yearly salaries of those who were displaced, laid off, let go.....

I don't know all the details so if someone has a link, please share.

Now, that's what I call - Doing it RIGHT....!!!!

Jets and Dolphins will reimburse wages they docked from team employees during lockout.

Bills have told staffers that they will receive full reimbursement of back pay, restoration of previous salary levels and 401k retro.

Chiefs will refund all employees whose pay was cuts on Friday, in their next round of regular paychecks.

The same day the NFL and the NFLPA agreed to a settlement that will lift the lockout in the coming days the Miami Dolphins organization announced plans to restore the salaries of the team’s employees.

In May the Dolphins slashed salaries as much as 20 percent fearing a work stoppage. Any employee of the team who made more than $75,000 received a 20 percent pay cut. Those making below $75,000 faced a 15 percent pay cut, and anyone below a $50,000 salary received a 10 percent trim.

Employees will be informed today at 4 p.m. all of their lost wages will be restored, and their salaries will return to their normal levels in the next paycheck.

According to a team source, owner Stephen Ross made the decision to restore the pay months ago if the season went off without any setbacks, and he’s fulfilling that commitment now that the 2011 season appears to be unharmed.

Soooooooo. . . . What are the chances our illustrious owner follows suit?

I'd say my chances of marrying Halle Berry (wife would understand), watching the Redskins winn the Super Bowl this year, and selling my house in Miami, for a profit, are COLLECTIVELY better than the Danny doing this.

Hell, he just canned the Matt Terl, redskins.com's blogger.
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

He doesn't have to do this...
The Redskins didn't cut pay or lay anyone off.

I'd actually say our owner is pretty damn generous. The use of planes during the Katrina event, breast cancer awareness, what he did with all the profits from ST's death. You can't knock his generosity IMO. You can knock his football ownership skills, but I'm hard pressed on anything else. Hell I don't even think he laid off anyone
Miss you 21

Talk to his former partners and former employees.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
