"Just having that kind of offense (2010) in our organization was a blessing for me. I wasn't a guy wanting to go deep all the time. If you look at my career, I've played with 10 different quarterbacks."

Santana Moss on ESPN 980, kind of laughs when John Beck is brought up saying "I was very amused about that situation" when the brewing QB controversy was raised a few weeks ago.

I forgot to add that he took the time to talk Redskins football on his 32nd birthday... also said K Shanahan's offense was a blessing.

Happy B-day Tana

This just confirms my hope that he's a part of things here going forward

thanks for the post .... again
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Moss returning would improve the odds for our new crop of receivers succeeding and having an impact. I sincerely hope KS wants him to stick around.

Happy Birthday Mr. Moss :D

I love hearing that from Moss. If he backs it up and stays then he's going to finally start to become one of my all time favorite Skins

Oh, it still does, absolutely. He's been one of my favorite current Skins for awhile now. And borderline one of my favorite all time. His staying now that we can offer him good money but not top dollar and we're still finding our way out of the wilderness would just push him across the border

He never once mentioned "money", "what he can get on the open market", "what he is due based on past performance" or anything close to what a guy that has done what he has done (coming off his best statistical year of his career not including TDs), and looking to get paid. No Carlos Rogers type statements about a wanting to play against the Skins, or the team not resigning it's own. Moss sounded nothing like a Redskins player who's contract has just run out

He mentioned not wanting to be the teams deep threat all the time, while not saying he was misused or had that he had no help. He did bring up the fact that he put up more yards that at anytime in his career, he was asked about it and gave Kyle's usage of his skills in the scheme the credit.

Again very un-Redskins like. :(

His boy CP stayed in the press (good and bad), Moss never got into the fray, He's had ten different QBs... hasn't trashed a single one of them. He'll go out of his way to defend them without taking sides.

That not how top wide receivers operate. 8)

He did play "the Danny" card but then again "the Danny" had to have a good relationship with Tana or would "the Danny" would've brought L. Coles a big a$$ TV.

Moss doesn't sound like a ex-Redskins looking to and expecting to get paid, he has shown that he isn't the headcase that most FA WRs all seem to be. I'm partial to players from the U but I'm truely ONLY a fan of the Redskins, and Santana Moss sounds like a guy that should finish his career as a Washington Redskins wide receiver/

That's my My 2 cents the KowboiKiller doesn't need much more than that from me

Moss on Donovan McNabb on ESPN 980: "He did the best with what he had. I can't sit here and point my finger at one person, and I won't."
Not exactly a ringing endorsement of McNabb.

He didn't throw him under the bus either....

That's a professional.... how he signed with Washington so long ago and can still be the PRO that he is speaks volumes about the man.

His two catches from MB on MNF made him a fan favorite for Skin's fans around the world, but the OT catch a run against the Jags was my favorite on field performance by him. Listening to him yesterday made me proud to be a Redskins fan, makes me feel good being a GatorHater

Moss has been all we've had for years now. He is the man here! Nice to see a player who finds value in that beyond just the big paycheck.

Great interview. Shows he's not just a quality player but a classy guy.

I really hope he comes back. At the very least he is a solid starting receiver. And it is great to hear a possible FA to be say that he would like to stay here and not go out of his way to say how he wants to beat the Skins or wants more money like Rogers and Portis.
RIP SEAN TAYLOR #21
