A Dozen years and counting

Post by 1niksder »

Twelve years ago today "the Danny" purchased our team and had more or less let "Vinny the idiot" run the team.

Many say Vinny was just a "yes man" but the more we hear from him, now that he isn't running the team we know he was truly a idiot....

Last month, he was asked:
“Do you think that Mike Brown will eventually trade Carson Palmer?”

His response was a rehash of how he operates.....
“I mean, I was part of trying to trade for Chad Ochocinco, and when they said no, they meant no. And Marvin [Lewis] would have done it. Two No. 1s, that’s exactly what it was. And I talked to Katie Blackburn’s husband all the time, and he just said listen. I talked to him at the owners’ meetings, and I called him. He said no is no, quit calling, we’re not trading him....
He was asked about Mike Brown trading Palmer again this week and replied:
“Oh trust me, I know that for a fact,” Cerrato said. “I’ve been there and done that, tried that.”

“So you’re saying he’s stubborn and unrealistic?” co-host Ken Weinman later asked.

“He is,” Cerrato said. “I’ve dealt with him. He’s definitely that.”

Twelve years ago we were CURSED. We are still desperately trying to correct the pile of blunders and mismanagement accumulated over this period.

If this was any other business, Daniel Snyder would have gone BANKRUPT several years ago. If Vinny Cerrato had been a CEO of a company, he would have been FIRED shortly after his first tenure and NEVER returned, let alone stay for as long as he did.

Yes, Vinny Cerrato was an IDIOT but he was also a YES MAN as a member of the Skins FO. Those two properties are not mutually exclusive.

Daniel Snyder and Vinny Cerrato still provide the worst dysfunctional example of joint mismanagement of the most expensive sports franchise in North America.

This is the actual direct LINK

Repeat after me ... TWO 1st Round Draft picks ... TWO 1st Round Draft picks ... TWO 1st Round Draft picks ...
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Making that trade would have cost us Orakpo. We supposedly offered the 2008 and 2009 first rounders.
