My bad. You are right. Too bad.

Look for us to grab Evan Royster from PSU in the 5th. I'm a little bit of a homer, but he will be a decently productive back in the NFL and fits our running game nice. He does have a lot of mileage on him, but should be a good option for 4-5 years.

We don't really need guys compared with Haynesworth anyway. Good thing we didn't get him IMO.

I'm a VT alum. Taylor is made for the college game, not the pro game.

I wouldn't mind:

Casey Matthews ILB Oregon --- that family just breeds intelligent football players

Clint Boling OG Georgia

Marcus Cannon OG TCU

Brandon Burton CB Utah

Jordan Todman RB UConn --- Sounds like a "Portis-type" RB, that is willing to get dirty and do some pass blocking..not big, but tough!

Christian Ballard DT Iowa

Ricky Stanzi QB Iowa

Gregory Salas WR Hawaii --- I know we got Hankerson, but Salas seems like another good steal in the late rounds, Santana might not be back.
An extremely tough and competitive player. Shows no fear or hesitation working the middle of the field. Will call for ball even when covered. Adequate blocker that can get into position and flashes the ability to sustain. Looks to throw blocks downfield. Fights for yards after catch and bounces off several would be tackles. Will chase and pursue with great effort off of INT.

Isn't Salas like 5'11? My only issue is that we already have two vertically challenged WR's under contract in Austin & Banks.

it looks like we're goin the hard working, non-stop motor, locker room presence route this year and i love it. so saying that, i think using one of our picks to take Mark Herzlich would be fitting. I think he'd be a great locker room guy and special teams beast for now...

I could be on board with that... this young man knows what's important... plus, he's a pretty darned good ball player.

Would love to get Herzlich. I think his story just would help a young team. THIS GUY BEAT CANCER!!! He also was able to come back into football. He was ranked a 1st round pick b4 he came down with cancer and his goal is to get back to the form he was in and surpass it. That kind of determination is key to success at the next level.

This Shanny's time in the draft....

There will be no UDFA signings like Brandon Banks, Keiland Williams, and TE Logan Paulson were after the draft in 2010, In the 7th rd last year, he got Austin, Capers, and Cook.

If five of the ten picks work out then you'll have to give Shanny a A for the 2011 draft

495 free agents are in limbo right now because of the lockout, and teams normally pick up about 15 UDFA, so we can add another 480 rookies that will be available.

Do you think we draft Offense or defense in the 4th? My guess is either a RB, OL, or CB.

If Stanzi is there, he might be our guy.

Too early for RB based off Mike's history but if there is a SOLID guy that he loves, he'll take him. Can't resist but I think that Mike likes the guys that may be on the team now to be honest.

IF, and it's a big IF, Torain can stay healthy, then I like him. He's a solid guy. I like Keiland Williams as the pass catcher. I wouldn't mind getting someone like Sproles from SD in FA to be another back.

McElroy probably but none of these guys IMO are NFL starters so I probably don't take any of them.
