I watched this guy a lot this year and he really plays hard. Has decent speed, good hands (i think they said were the largest at the draft combine this year), and was productive, and the captain.

I feel like a LB, DE, and WR all filled immediate needs on the team and should all contribute right away if lockout ends soon.

Mostly I am happy to not have one of these Qbs drafted cause I can't see any of them standing out right now.

In the next picks it would be nice to a NT, OG, OT, OC/C, LB, CB, CB, QB

Do you have any favorites for project QB?

I'm still trying to figure out why they took Jenkins over Paea. All I've seen is that he's a likely 3rd rounder.

Yes, I am thinking Stanzi as well or McElroy of Alabama.

Not sure but if they loved the guy and took him there, let's just hope he pan's out. If not, a wasted pick but you never know.

Maybe Paea's knee injury was too big a risk foe them? I mean a large man coming off a substantial knee injury doesnt make my stomach sit too well either
Mike/Bruce - If your going to spring big this year in Free Agency, please spring big on offensive lineman! I cant watch Rabach anymore!

Good question because Paea has a motor on him. Could have been his recent knee surgery.

Skins started out with 1 1st, 1 2nd and 2 5ths 1 6th and 2 7ths, right?

Pretty good to add a 3rd, 4th, 2 5ths and 2 7ths by just trading down from 10 to 16.

I assume plenty of you guys are Va Tech fans, but I see no one banging a drum for Tyrod Taylor. Could someone who has watched a lot of him give us their opinion of his pro potential?

Mike Vick - slower but better arm. Shorter than most QB's. In the 6 ft range based off memory but he's a late round pick at best.

Drafted based on NEED in a very disciplined and smart manner gaining picks and filling glaring holes.

I am IMPRESSED. Where were these guys last year ???

As Shanny said, he did not know the personel last year and was hampered by the RFA's he had to deal with. This year was all about evauating the talent. You really don't know what you have until you go to battle with them. Obviously, he didn't think to much of them if he trades back and picks up all those picks

Yeah, there's going to be a huge turnover on this team.

I really do hope it's not like he did it in Denver several times though. Just turn it over this year and build, don't cut 1/2 the team from year to year.

In the 5th round, the Washington Redskins (read shanny) pick:

Alex Green, University of Hawaii, RB

Mark my words.
