I'm pretty happy so far with our picks. Our defense was pretty bad and we picked up a guy opposite Orakpo and a defensive lineman.

(Also we signed Otagwe to pair with Landry)

Not having made any picks would be better than what we've gotten so far as I'm concerned.

They've filled Positions of need, but not with players that I would have even considered that high. Hell, Kerrigan was rated somwhere between #40-50 on the boards I'd looked at. Jenkins is rated down in the 70's. Absolute wastes in both cases. Just two more guys in Burgundy and Gold that I won't be able to root for. I expect the same at #49.

I'll promise you won't be happy with who ever it is.

In a perfect world, who would you like them to pick at 49 if available?

How does this sound?

Jenkins slots in at NT, We have Carriker and Haynesworth at the ends.

Could it happen?

Is Haynesworth going to be in jail? He rejected the plea and doesn't he have another charge against him pending as well?

NT, nice.

I get that some people might be frustrated that we reached a little for him based on what 'draft experts' said, but if the guys making the decisions believe he's worth it, I'll trust them. I'm all for drafting for value, but sometimes a need is too great.

Shanny said that he wanted 53 work ethic guys - the two picks reflect that so far. Does Mallet fit the high motor profile? How bout Fun answering this one?

Does he at least fit the height and weight profile this time, unlike Albert?

They announced him as a DE though, not NT or DT (which he played at Clemson). I could see him being a DE opposite Cariker.

I have no idea what you are looking at then. Kerrigan wasn't getting past NE at 17 according to everything else, besides the smoke you were "reading"

He could use a little weight right now he's at 310 lbs.

Probably Mikel Leshore. Not sure I want anyone who's available at this point.

That would've been fine. A guy I don't like going to a team I truly HATE. Nothing wrong with that.

Skins fanatic please provide link to a legit draft page that had Kerrigan at 50. Or you just straight up lying about it?

Most NT's are between 6'1" and 6'3" and 320-335lbs.

Jenkins right now is 6'4" and 310, so he could put on 15-20lbs to play NT, but he's not too far away from being a good size for it.

Add the specialty positions after you build the roster. We are building the defense right now, then build the OL, then add QB and RB similar to the way the Jets did it. THey built the roster, then added Sanchez and Shonn Green

The place I'd seen it has since taken it down. Feel free to club me on it.

Either way, I wouldn't have taken him with either of these 2nd round picks, nevermind the 1st rounder. Hell, I wouldn't have taken him with our 5th rounder. Pure and simple.

So the site you saw their strong opinion took it down. Goes to show their credibility IMO.
