Frank!!! You're killing me. Hankerson is a Cane, NOT a Gator. That's about as low of an insult as you can say to someone.
Wouldn't worry about it, Frank... most of us can't tell the difference, either... very subtle differences in the structure of the brow ridges, I understand...

Taking a QB for the sake of taking a QB is not the answer. Lets fill some other areas of need and address the QB of the future next year.
We can't keep putting off drafting a qb. You have no idea who is going to be available in next year's draft. The time to address qb is now.
We are perfectly positioned to get Luck... just need a few more losses.

Sports are more important than life and death to some of us.
Oh, well, as a guy who lived in DC area since the age of 2, the REDSKINS are that important to me and I'd NEVER say I hope they don't win another SB.. by the way, wut the heck are you doing here?

Thats a matter of opinion.. The time to draft a QB isnt now if there is not a QB that the team values in this draft.. while there may be someone you covet that does not mean that the team agrees and while I covet no one in this draft the team might think they found their guy..
All Im trying to say is that you dont just draft a QB because you feel like the time is now to do so.. its true that there is no way of knowing who will be available next year but to draft a QB in the 2nd round that your not sure can truly be your franchise QB is no way to go about doing business and will leave the team in a repeated cycle of searching for the answer at QB

I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"
I think both of these second round picks need to produce starters. If they use both of them then that's 3 starters (including "Superman"), if they use one and trade down then the 3rd rounder needs to be starting by the bye week.

That's awfully ambitious, even for good drafting teams.

It's time the Redskins become a good drafting team.
They have the advantage considering all the holes the have in the starting lineup.

I think that Shanny is targeting a QB who may be more of a project type guy like TJ Yates (can't stand Carolina guys) or the kid out of Alabama. I think with our 2nd, we'd pick up Hankersim from UF or in the 3rd, the WR from Hawaii who we had in twice I think for visits. I like the idea of the NG/DT from Hampton. Local kid too which is always nice to have on the team.
I am beginning to think that this is what Shanny is thinking. There might be a lot of folks wanting to trade up for that #41 to get "their guy." I am wondering if the rumors about Shanny wanting Luck next year are true. Look for some future draft choice pick ups here for some Lucky ammo.

I AGREE with 1nik
This team NEEDS effective starters. Maybe not the best players at their positions in the NFL, just solid starter material.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
If Mallett gets by them he'll likely make it to 41. Then well probably pass on him and really break my heart. If shanahan does want him, he doesn't want him bad enough to trade up apparently.

They can get him at 49 if he is there at 41
