Please tell me that your 50 inch 3D Flat panel just hit the sidewalk...Redskins_Fanatic wrote:Countertrey wrote: Ahhh... I'm sure that our peers here are as impressed as I with your erudition...
Since when have I given a rat's ass about what anyone else around here thought of my opinion or anything else.
I cannot and will not root for this guy. Except to see him sustain a career ending injury ASAP.

Not injury prone......
Sprains ankle during 2008 training camp and does not start the season opener against Northern Colorado. Breaks foot during the 2009 season finale against Indiana and undergoes surgery, which forces him to miss most of 2010 spring ball.
Sounds injury prone to ME.

You forgot that he broke a toenail over the summer of 2010 and missed team water aerobics.

I was repeating what the tv commentators were saying. Doesn't sound like he missed hardly any real playing time.

Kerrigan is more athletic than Orakpo or any of our OLBs in terms of underneath coverage. Kerrigan is a phenomenal pass rusher and has active hands when QBs are looking to throw.

No. I will root for him to fail for the same reason I rooted for Jason Campbell and Patricia Ramsey to fail..... BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO SELECT WHERE THEY WERE CHOSEN.
MAYBE, if this guy had been chosen in the 3rd or 4th round. Definitely not in the 1st or 2nd.

I'm a Purdue fan and this guy is such a good player that has the biggest heart and motor in the ENTIRE draft. Great character player. He's not flashy but he remind me of Clay Matthews, but bigger. Great pick and we get an extra pick. He's gonna be a fan favorite. he gives his all EVERY snap
Miss you 21

This is not going to make you feel better.
Tough competition
Purdue DT Ryan Kerrigan isn't standing out, but he's playing well and remember, he's going against the top two OTs here in Colorado's Nate Solder and Wisconsin's Gabe Carimi. He showed quickness and power but didn't see the ability to counter once he got caught by those two.

I hope Shanny is right with him, because - We got him!

For what it's worth, Sporting News Draft Guide says his NFL comparable is Jared Allen. Meanwhile, they rank him behind Bowers, Jordan, Clayborn, Sheard, Heyward, and Aldon Smith, but still one of eight 1st rounders.

Thank you ChiefHog, finally someone with a head on his shoulders. This guy teamed with Orakpo is going to cause offensive coordinators fits. High motor guy who just makes plays, and is a great leader. Would have preferred Jordan, but I'm on board with this pick. Fairley can easily be the next Haynesworth. Guy has headache written all over him.
WOW
how great is this - we managed to trade out of the 10 slot AND add another pick - AND THEN we pick up a player like Kerrigan
this is a great start to the draft
well done FO & thanks for helping this franchise

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I agree !!! He fills a position of NEED now that Carter is gone.
The Skins always said they wanted somebody opposite Orakpo throughout the offseason.
Having said that, I would have been happy with Prince Amukamara as well.
It will all come down to decide the 2nd round picks. If they are good, it might have been good to trade down, if they are not, passing on Fairly wil be a painful memory.
Remember when the FO of the Lions used to be run by Matt Millen? NO MORE !!!

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
