“I think there are some interesting prospects at positions that might attract other teams,” Allen said. “And there are some players – once we finalize our board – if we have rated at a certain grade and feel we have to move, then we’ll also consider that. I haven’t seen much movement the last several years, though.”
Allen said that the Redskins have not made a decision on the status of quarterback Donovan McNabb or defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth.
Allen indicated that once the labor situation was resolved, the team could move forward on determining their future with the club.

When you reach the end of your rope, tie a knot in it and hold on....
"Even though it looks like you don't have any picks in the third and fourth round, there's a possibility you could move back and get a couple of picks very quickly," Shanahan said.
Shanahan even outlined specifically how that could play out in New York. There are two highly touted receivers -- A.J. Green of Georgia and Julio Jones of Alabama -- and many mock drafts have Jones being available for the Redskins at No. 10.
"Let's say there's two wide receivers, and all of a sudden, one wide receiver goes off (the board)," Shanahan said. "All of a sudden, it comes to be the 10th pick, you may have three or four calls very quickly."
"Everybody's got a game plan," Shanahan said. "Some people want to move up. Some people want to move back. You have to feel very comfortable with your board either way, if you're moving back or moving up. You've got to feel confident you can get the players that you want."

Interesting stud players for me are, not in any order:
Nick Fairley...stud
J. Jones....big, fast
Cam Jordan....what quickness
But who knows...??? FO may give up #10 for more picks.
2 things to consider:
- no free agency before the draft this year
- while the draft is deep at certain positions - having the #10 pick could be very interesting to a couple of teams that would give up a little (to them) to get a player they really like aAND we are a franchise that really needs more picks more than we need 1 great player (there's NO guarantee they'll actually be 'great') and the more picks you have the better chance you have
hopefully we add to our picks in this and maybe next year's draft
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
