CAPS playoff thread!

Okay fellas,

I became a CAPS fan a couple years ago to support the local teams, because I found hockey to be an awesome sport. I don't watch every game like I do (religiously) with the skins, but I do watch them whenever I can catch them on CCSN. They have given me hope that a Washington, D.C. area sports team can actually be worth a *%&$*. I am excited and a bit nervous for the post season all at the same time. I am putting faith in our boys to pull of a championship run and I hope more of us Redskins fan can at least hop on the bandwagon and support these men to a hopeful Stanley cup VICTORY!

Ha Cappo, you beat me to it my brutha! I was coming to make a thread for OUR Washington Caps!!!!

2K11 boys and gals, no need to revisit our playoff history or for that matter, the regular season.

It's a new day and tomorrow we're gonna chop up some Rangers and use um for the fireplace!!!

We have gone out this year with a new look (actually playing defense) and although we were not blowing teams away like last year we are more playoff ready this year than the previous 2 seasons.

We need to make a good playoff run NOW!

The only bad part about us playing the Rangers is they came off of an exciting last few games to get into the playoffs. It shouldnt matter though we are that much better.

I have to agree with that ATX.. I was very skeptical during the season with Bruce's change in strategy and he's been saying throughout the year how we needed to get both aspects of the game tighter, seeing it for myself now that regular season is done I'm very impressed indeed. Like you said bro, now is the time to get over this hurdle we call the playoffs.

Our year bro, DC deserves another champion and Jah know we need a parade so I can use a vacation day to enjoy it!!!

That was a great game played last night by our boys. I love a shutout and going up 2-ZERO. All I require out of our area's sports teams is a little hope and the Caps have given it to me. I just hope we continue to play like we have and get out of the first round.

Awww man that was a tough loss last night. Good game by both teams, that puck just had a mind of its own. I can't blame our goalie on those goals for real. Well, I didn't see the first one but I saw the last two.

We have to play better, did you guys hear that stat about us winning the first two games and then..pause.. can't remember. Something about us basically losing the series 5 outta 8 times I think when we go 2-1 for the first three games. Some jazz like that.

Gonna hear my co-worker's mouth today, she's from NY and a diehard stranger fan. Gag
