Redskins winning the 2012 Super Bowl?

As much as I'd like to believe, I think there's still quite a bit of work to do. But, on a slow Monday for Redskins news, I thought I'd share this, and maybe even start a good discussion...

I didn't realize that Washington has won the Super Bowl during the last two lockouts... i guess we've all heard of the scabs going 3-0 for us during the 1987 season, but I never thought about 1982! I honestly don't know who is going to QB the Skins this upcoming season, and I don't know why Shanahan has such a crush on Grossman, but I'd love to jump on the bandwagon!

Now, that is one way to put a positive spin on something so negative as a "Lockout."

I hope the Redskins can go 8-8 or 9-7 in 2011. I am glad to see them headed in the right direction

^ I personally wouldn't mind seeing them go 10-6 or 11-5 with McNabb at the helm, getting a playoff berth and getting out of the first round.

That to me.... would be a dream come true.

They have such a long way to go. Whatever Shanny and Bruce think I am on board. I just hope Danny stays out of the way.

6-6 is more likely than 8-8.

good for you LPJ

there's a slight difference in being a fan that expects the team to win every game and the Super Bowl each year AND those fans that look for the result to be more determined off the field than on it
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I'll take a Super Bowl win in a strike shortened season.
I'll be just like old times.
