Andre Carter appreciation thread

Post by Jake »

With Andre's expected release today, that marks the end of THN Weekly with Andre Carter. It was an amazing experience to get to interact with him over the past three seasons. He showed nothing but class and respect to the fans during his time here.

Put your favorite Andre Carter moment or memory or even just a message you want to tell him and I will pass it along to him.

I understand the move... but am saddened, none the less... 'Dre Carter is class all the way. I don't think the Redskins will try to bring him back, as he isn't built for the scheme... God speed, man... land someplace where you can eat it up for a few. just, stay away from the NFC East.

This is a sad day for me. I really appreciate all Andre did for the Redskins franchise. I wish he was part of the future here, but unfortunately the front office doesn't feel the same. Best of luck. A playEr of Carters caliber shouldn't be on the market long I hope he lands in the most ideal place. Once again thanx for everything. God Bless.

I'll miss seeing Andre on the field. I know he wasn't cut out for the 3-4 OLB position, but he didn't make waves, and that's what I repsect the most. A lot of people could learn a lesson from him. Good Luck in the future Andre!

Agreed. I mean the guy left the Niners specifically because he didn't want to play 3-4 OLB (and knew he wasn't a good fit), but gave it a go with the Redskins when asked anyways. What a contrast to Fat Albert.

Andre is a real class act. One of the guys you are proud as a fan to have on the team. I wish him the best of luck with his next team... unless he is playing the 'Skins.

Gonna miss you Dre! You were good for the Skins and played hard! I hate losing my Skins to B.S. Like playing in a b.s., 3-4 system that was never ever going to work on a 4-3 team!

Sorry to see you go...it just wasn't quite fair to you and the rest of our fallen brethren this past week at the hands of a crazed, maniacal, dictator of a coach!

Enjoyed you Dre! Thanks for the many sacks you gave us Bro!

Oh...I almost forgot...My most favorite AC moment is when(I forgot our opponent), Dre totally obliterated the tackle that you were up against! I mean YOU DESTROYED him and sacked the qb for a Redskin safety! You tossed aside a professional NFL tackle like a rag doll...Wow!!! One of my favorite plays of all time!!!

Miss you Bro!

He had some great games and plays too.

I wish Andre the best in the rest of his career and his life off the field.

I wish we'd stayed in the 4-3, Carter was an ideal DE for us, oh well. It wasn't meant to be. Good luck Andre!.
