Cowpies the most overrated team in NFL
The Pies are definitely the most overrated team in the NFL. Yes, they won 10 games last year, but at least four of those were won on fluke plays or a freak turnover. Without the lucky breaks, they were a 6-10 team. Once they got into the playoffs against real competition, they folded like a cheap umbrella. They will revert to their true form this year, and Parcells will be looking for a new job in 2006. Maybe head pie himself, Jerry Jones, will name himself Head Coach, GM, and Emperor-for-life.

Well sorry that you are looking thru things with rose-colored glasses. Sorry that we have been kicking you butts over the past few years. Sorry that Parcells owns Gibbs in the Head to Head record.

LOL so you dong think Antonio's Bryants attitude in college had anything to do with Antonio Bryant it was all on Parcells. Oh yeah what about Antonio Bryants attitude his first year with the Cowboys when Campo was the coach. I guess that was Parcells fault huh. JSPB22 you sound alittle naive in your post.

Again, gambit, JSPB22 is 'just calling it like he sees it'--and not blaming every problem (i.e. Bryant's attitude) on one source only (i.e. Parcells). Try and take his arguments for what they are, then answer them. By the by, I'm waiting to hear a good answer to his original point regarding close games / lucky plays, etc.
My take on it: The same principle of "luck" affecting the overall image of a team applies to the Redskins of the past couple of years, as well. Spurrier, I believe, was 5-9 in his first season before pulling the last two games out to make our schedule look almost close to being reasonable. I know we had a lot of close games this year that we lost, but I'm going to go ahead and say that more often than not good coaches will, somehow--some way--make good luck, so to speak.

I hate to get off topic, but I'm stitting here wondering where you got that quote from. It made me think of the rule change just last season, or possibly the season before that keeps linemen from lining up crooked or back a little farther. I wouldn't have remembered it if it didn't make Tra Thomas a revolving door.
