That wasn't tasty it was stale... everyone with any insight has known for a month that it wasn't a $40 million contract. Bad info in the 1st sentence does not make a tasty morsel, it makes you move on to something elseRedskins players are not happy. "The guys are extremely pissed," one player told NFL.com's Jason La Canfora. He reports that Redskins players think offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is using McNabb as a scapegoat for his own failures
ok, now I am putting it in better light I hope. This is what I was talking about.
One player told JLC that the guys are pissed

Was the player that told him this one of the pissed players or one of the players that thinks DMc is a scapegoat? Why not name names, if he actually talked to someone? We saw through all of his "a person with knowledge of the situation" BS so now he is going with player and players.

Caliber? He is and always was over rated. He can make big plays. Ask him to be consistent. Canes you know. I know you know. You are big on stats and yes MacNab can make the plays but he was hated for a reason and now we all can see why. I understand that he doesn't have the blocking but he did as an Eagle more so than a Redskin. AM I right thinking this?

Whatever McNabb is or isn't we bought and paid for him. It isn't his fault he isn't something other than what he always has been. It's Shanahan and Son who just had to have McNabb, cost prohibition be damned.

You are probably right. Maybe not though. What really goes on in the locker room that isn't reported accurately? I understand that Jason has alot of this guy says this and that and it is anonymous. What would you think though if you were on that team? What would you say to the media and what would you really be thinking? I am saying I believe this. This is natural.

For the most part players had no comment when the news broke, and JLC is mostly wrong when he doesn't name a source

But JLC wants us to believe that after telling the locals nothing they opened up to him and told him how they feel and what they are thinking
Maybe he talked to Fat Albert... Oh Yeah he was banded

Things to keep in mind:
What if there is no Collective Bargaining Agreement and a protracted lock-out? The QB Question will be a moot point for "Next Year". Should the Redskins keep McNabb around when he will be getting older, and the team won't even play?
What happens to all the Draft picks if there is no season next year? They won't practice and they won't play. That leaves with starting over in 2012.
I wonder how much of this is a direct result of the CBA and if there is going to be an 18 games season, McNabb won't make it through the season, they need options as will all teams.
Finally, I think McNabb might want to play in Arizona or for the Vikings. If they can get a draft pick for him and there is no season, the Redskins will be better off.

I'm not sure if i am more disappointed in this latest Redskins drama with benching Mcnabb or the unimaginable disappointment when I found out today that Tootsie Pop has a banana flavor...
They have to know that Cherry is the best flavor, banana has no place with candy.

Dude... you know how to put things in perspective! hahaha
May #21 never be worn again by another Redskin but may every Redskin play like they are wearing #21 on their backs.

I know QB's are a crapshoot, and this would be the 3rd time we'd be taking a QB in 9 years, but I feel good about Shanahan's ability to pick a QB. He turned Brian Griese into a Pro-Bowler.

They have a cherry too. Most candy cherry flavors are too medicinal, though.

Which is precisely why almost no one on THN considered him a reliable source when he was with the Post. A cat can't change his spots. I believed that JLC was a knee jerk opportunist in Washington... and (apparently), is now a knee jerk opportunist at NFLN. The guy has a history of preferring splash over credibility... if he wanted to change that, he'd find a way to validate the rumors that he mongers as fact.
Could he be right? sure. Do I believe a word that comes out of his mouth at face value???? NOT A CHANCE. I believe nothing that comes from him that is not sourced.
Keep in mind, I'm not at all happy with Shanahan's incomprehensible behavior... but that doesn't mean that I'm going to use anything from a source that I don't consider trustworthy as validation for my feelings.

I'm a staunch McNabb supporter. However, how can anyone be naive enough to think that our O doesn't have serious problems and we have to look at and try everything and we need to figure out who should be here next year? I would stay with McNabb personally, but how could anyone inside or outside the locker room not get it?
You seriously think anyone in the locker room is thinking "I don't get this, our offense is horrible, but I'm going to be pissed and tank if anyone makes a change that I personally don't think is the problem!" Yeah, they're thinking that. If you're on D, you're thinking thank God they are trying to get us some points so it's not on us every freaking game and if you're on O you're concerned with your own survival next year.
