Will the season really be over?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Will the season really be over?

Post by Justice Hog »

Okay folks, a lot of people out there (including myself, unfortunately) are expecting a Dallas win today. I truly hope it won't happen...but...well...you know.

Many people are saying that the Redskins MUST win this game or their season is over.

While I must admit that I won't be very happy with a 3-5 start, I can't say that I think the season is over! Playoffs would be an extremely tough objective...but OVER?

What does everyone else think about this?

Oh sure it's possible but...

I think at 3-5, it's certanly doable when 9-7 may get you to the playoff.

But is it doable when you're 3-5, the fans are screaming, the owner is itching, the players are doubting and the coach is hiding?

Really... to expect a win going into Dallas considering the recent past is ludicrous.

To me it's not whether we win or lose today... it's how we do it. Lose a hard fought battle with few mistakes and a good showing... not so bad.

Go in and get embarassed, better reach into the SHOCK bag to salvage anything out of the season.... and as Riggo alluded to... that would mean firing SOS. That's the only way this 3-5 team could get to 9-7 to have a shot.

So what's you're interpretation of Sunday's outing, Boss?

I saw it as an embarrassment.
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.
