It was sad. We had our 1 good drive that we usually have and that was it. The defense looked sluggish for the most part (I saw Doughty all over the place and I swear, Orakpo will never feel alone again with all the holding no-calls). Rocky shoulder tackling Pascoe
Kemo getting blown off the line 5 yards. There's really nothing to look forward to except next year.
I'll still watch and cheer, but the management can't get the team to play with fire. It's gotta start with management.

RIP #21 Sean Taylor. You will be loved and adored by Redskins fans forever!!!!!

The National Anthem sucks.
What a useless piece of propagandist rhetoric that is.

We oughta let Rex start the rest of the season. That way, we can accomplish two things:
1) Preserve mcnabb's health, so we can get something of worth for him when Arizona comes calling, and
2) See if, in fact, Kyle's offense works with someone who allegedly knows this offense.

The only problem is that on #1 - This is McNabbs last year under contract. The trade deadline has passed and I'm sure, unless we franchise tag him, pending an extension of the CBA, Az will like their chances of getting McNabb on the open market.

Do you remember the time when our games in the NFC East were struggles for control of the trenches?
Remember when our Offensive and Defensive Lines fought and often prevailed over FANTASTIC opponents such as Lawrence Taylor (Giants) and Reggie White (Eagles), and many other great ones?
Remember when our QBs knew what to expect from an OL?
Remember when our DL had the likes of Dave Butz and LBs could do their job instead of filling in for the job of poor linemen?
I only have ONE FREAKING question:
How anybody throughout the whole NFL shows up to an NFC East game without a self-respecting OL and DL?
We are paying the price for over a decade of neglect of the most important positions for a team in the NFC East. You can have Peyton Maning but take away a good OL and decent receivers, and even he looks terrible.
Before anybody throws Donovan under the bus, please give him a chance to prove himself with some able bodies in front of him. These guys are traffic cops directing traffic. They are impostors dressed up in burgundy and gold.
And PLEASE bring back the DISLIKED and even HATED 4-3 defense led by Greg Blache. I still dislike it and even hate it today but even that defense showed up for games.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

c'mon Frank - you know better - don't you?

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

McNabb's contract is structured so he could be cut and we wouldn't be on the hook for very much. I would assume we could also trade him with this deal since there are no cap ramifications.

+1 If you're focusing on Mcnabb, you're barking up the wrong tree. IMO. We need the fatties in the tranches. It all starts there.
Although I say stay with the 3-4, figure out who's on board (and able) and set the table for next year.
