Hambrick on Bill Parcells Camp
"It was like being a nun at a nightclub. I didn't feel the energy. I said to my agent, 'You know, after going through a Bill Parcells training camp, I think it might be time to go to a more veteran squad, where they treat the players better.' Training camp with Parcells is rough and ragged."
-- Former Cowboys RB Troy Hambrick on playing for Bill Parcells.
WOW this is funny, I am glad we have options this year and dont have to put up with him. We should have cut him long time ago with his lazy brother.

still can't belive that fool ran though us like the wind.
i think that hamonthebone looking like walter payton was worse than losing to the pukes in general.

Anyone who complains about how tough training camp despite their team having a renaissance during the season is a born loser.
He went to the right place. He won't get too ragged under Turner...

that's not the way i understood his statement; that training camp was too 'tough'. i understood him to mean that there was no positive energy in the camp. that parcells is tough on the younger players by demoralizing them into submission; perhaps a method that does not sit well with more veteran players. that might create an energy where players are afraid to speak up or relax, and younger players are scared into performing well. and if you happen to be a veteran who's on bill's wrong side, you get crapped on. fun.
i understand that parcells is one of the best coaches in nfl history, but maybe his abrasive style doesn't work for everyone. so does that mean that the guy is a loser? well, in hambrick's case, maybe. i guess i can understand where the guy is coming from, i don't think i'd much enjoy parcells' company either.
i agree that hambrick will find a nice easy retirement home in the raiders' camp.

No one said it was "fun". I'm sure Cowboys camp is hell, but winners will see the value in it.
Parcells runs an old-school camp. That doesn't work for everyone, but Parcells is one of the best ever, and questioning the way camp was run after the season Dallas had seems ludicrous to me...
I'm bored, I'm broke, and I'm back.

I believe there are two different types of players out there. I believe you have some who love the game, and some who can play the game.
To be truely effective in this sport you have to love it. You have to love the game because there is no way anyone could put up with the requirments of this game to be successful if they don't love it. Those who can play and put up with it are obvious. Hambrick is dead obvious that he doesn't love the game.
When I played in highschool I loved the camps, the practices because they all lead up to the game. Especially beating CITY COLLEGE AT RAVENS STADIUM!!!!!!
.....sorry guys

The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!

damn it redeemed, you had to post a pic with that panzy. now my whole day is ruined. nothing but thoughts of BSmith fighting around the tackle, and the running back blowing around the other side for a ten yd gain.
