Well since news is a little slow right now, I thought a little survey would help keep us busy. I thought it would be cool to see what kind of people make up the BEST redskins site there is. My question is this...What kind of work do you do? We all know about Justice Hog and Boss Hog, but lets see what else everyone else does.
I'll go first I am a detention officer. :shock:

yikes, i hope i never meet you at work.

i run my own landscaping business. i am also about a half a step away from having my NC general contractor's license, when i get that i'll be doing residential construction as well as the landscaping.

Well.... right now... I'm a webmaster for a computer security company.... But i find cleaning my house more exciting..... So I'm in the works of putting my own business together to stimulate the creative side of my brain.... I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well and I never have to "work for the man" again 8-[

Stay at home mom! Currently looking for a job. My past careers have all been in Customer Service, if you don't count the time at Camp Lejeune Library, and my time with United Airlines. I'm trying to just focus on finding something clerical now. I have been taking typing tests on line and finally reach my goal. 101 words per minute no errors! I rock. Could I just find a job where I could type at home, I'd be happy with that. LOL

BTP What kind of company are you starting?

Wysocki you and Jansenfan should get along, you have the same job title!

Oh and Justice Hog can you approve a loan for an out of work domestic engineer with no colateral. Wait I have a Patrick Ramsey Rookie card. LOL

I'm a financial officer; however, I really do anything that is thrown at me. Making copies, typing, web stuff, writing/editing contracts, research/analysis - I have no shame... :-)

My background is in education and the non-profit sector in development and web design. However, a layoff and long stint trying to find a job lead me into getting whatever job it took to pay my mortgage. It's not so bad - not ideal but I really can't complain.

Im a 2 year college grad currently working for UPS as an internal computer technician. This fall Im going back to school to pursue my bachelors. Also Im pursuing my "top secrect level" security liscense, and its looking good!! :twisted:

I plan on starting my own company before I hit 30 if at all possible.

At school I'm studying Philosophy and English. That's right--in 2 years [when I graduate], ask what I do, and I'll be able to tell you that I'm unemployed(!)

a degree in philosophy-the only thing you can do with that is......teach philosophy...to....other philosophy students. a vicious cycle. as a wise man once said, they teach you just enough to screw you up for the rest of your life.

Actually, you can do a lot with an undergrad. degree in philosophy--but most of it has to do with grad school in thigns like law, economics, business, etc. When you get your PhD in Philosophy (a doctor of philosophy in Philosophy

), I'm pretty sure that you're a bit more limited in what you can do, with respect to using your degree. So I've got the English on there as well (and if I could go back, it would change to economics. Anyway, all that to say. . . .yeah, you're probably right actually.

That's okay, though--at least I'm enjoying studying it.

i feel what you're saying though; i minored in philosophy in college, and enjoyed it immensely. my wife, however, hates the fact that i studied it. she won't even argue with me anymore. we'll start discussing a topic very innocently, and i'll take a point she made and ask a question of her in a socratic type of way, and she just tells me 'don't start'. she's no fun.

I'm a computer programmer with a fancy title. This year, I'm either a "senior consultant" or a "project manager".

And good for you, philosphy majors and minors. I studied history, and found that computers were easier: either something compiled, or it didn't. The program ran, or it blew up. No in-between answers, no dodging a question by talking fast.
