He's just had a couple nagging leg injuries. Barry Bonds, Jason Giambi, Jose Canseco and others have managed to keep their bodies from falling apart. It's not even sure Merriman took steroids rather than another banned substance and Roger Goodell has been quick to defend him stating he's only ever failed one drug test since coming into the league.
