Brandon Banks

Post by aswas71788 »

With all of the turmoil surround the McNabb fiasco we seem to have forgotten Brandon Banks. What a day for him. The Redskins now have a real punt and Kickoff returner for the first time since Brian Mitchell.

The Lions showed no respect for Banks and that lack of respect nearly cost them the game. Move over Hestor. We're Banking with Brandon for Pro Bowl special teamer.

Come on. The man's good, but let's slow down with the comparison to the best freakin PR/KR in history. Seriously.

it is quite exciting just to know that ARE is no longer back there, what a difference it makes... Banks is explosive and exciting to watch on returns, a great find by the team...

x2. I hope they can find ways to leverage his talents for more than just special teams without getting the little guy killed. It's always exciting to see him on the field.

Man am I the only person who gets worried when somebody tackles that little guy? No freaking wonder he runs so fast...

Did you notice that the Kicker couldn't tackle him on the TD return. I thought he was going to go down but just shook off the attempt. He's better than his height makes him look.

OK, it is kinda cheesy for a phrase - it was late at night - I'm working on it :o)

If Bank's first TD run hadn't been called back, he would have turned in the best Redskin return game in history. Pray for his health. I'm of the opinion that he's Pro Bowl bound and maybe the best player (for his position) on our offense, with Moss and Cooley second and third.
